ALINA VILLALVA

Alina is a professor of Linguistics at the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL) since 1984 and a researcher at the Centro de Linguística da Universidade de Lisboa (<a href="https://clul.ulisboa.pt/pessoa/alinavillalva"><u>CLUL</u></a>, Psycholinguistics Lab) since 2008. She is directly involved in the founding of two significant pan-European research groups: Project European Roots where she is working on a prototype dictionary, and the <a href="https://sites.google.com/a/campus.ul.pt/landlex---lisbon-meeting/about-landlex"><u>LandLex </u></a>research group. She is also a member of Conselho Científico-Pedagógico da Formação Contínua (CCPFC/RFO-01126/97) and the Mind-Brain College. Her varied research interests include: theoretical linguistics (word structures, inflection, and word formation), word processing, the diachrony of the Portuguese lexicon and word stories.
